Meat can be so expensive! But the tip for today is check for the Manager Special stickers. A couple of months ago I was able to score 93% lean ground beef for only $1.50/lb. Crazy!!! It was a big pack (6 lbs if I remember right) and it was absolutely perfect. I was able to stock up on ground beef at an AMAZING price and I didn’t need to buy it again for almost 3 months!
I’ve found the best deals at Albertsons but my mom is always finding great deals on marked down meat at Safeway too. So check when you go to the store. You can always ask the butcher when they mark down their meat and then go on that day.
If you can get meat for a great price, stock up and freeze it!!
