August Shopping List

  • Alfredo Sauce – 1 Jar
  • Beef Bouillon Cube 1
  • Bisquick (If you got this last month you should still have enough for the 1 ¾ c you need this month)
  • Black beans: 3 cans
  • Bread crumbs Italian-flavored
  • Butter 1 lb
  • Cheese: Cheddar 24 oz
  • Cheese: Deli thin-sliced Swiss
  • Cheese: Mozzarella 20 oz
  • Cheese: Parmesan
  • Chicken Bouillon Cubes 1 box
  • Chicken Broth 2 cans
  • Cornmeal 1 c
  • Cream Cheese 1- 8-oz pkg
  • Cream of cheese soup 1 can
  • Cream of chicken soup 1 can
  • Deli meat: 12 slices oven roasted turkey
  • Deli meat: ham 6 oz
  • Dijon Mustard 2 T
  • Kidney Beans 1- 16 oz can
  • Kidney Beans 2 cans OR 1 c dried
  • Lime juice 2 TBS (or 2-3 limes)
  • Pasta: Spiral Noodles 1-2 c (or any pasta you have on hand)
  • Pasta: medium shells (whole wheat optional)

  • Quinoa ½ cup (if you don’t have some on hand, check the bulk section of Sprouts or Winco to get just a small amount)
  • Ranch seasoning ½ TBS
  • Rice: Brown
  • Salsa 24 oz
  • Sour Cream 16 oz
  • Soy sauce
  • Spaghetti sauce: 1-2 jars depending on how saucy you like stuff
  • Tomato sauce 1 – 8 oz can
  • Tomatoes 1- 16 oz can
  • Tortilla chips: 2 cups crushed
  • Tortillas: 4 flour
  • Tortillas: corn or flour small
  • Vegetables: Frozen corn 8 oz
  • Vegetables: Frozen Mixed 8oz
  • Yellow corn: 1 can or 1 c frozen

Meat

  • Beef: Ground 3 lbs
  • Chicken: 17 breasts

Produce

  • Broccoli florets 5 cups (fresh or frozen)
  • Carrots 3
  • Celery Stocks 4
  • Garlic 6 cloves (should be 1 bulb)
  • Green Bell Pepper 3
  • Green Onions 5
  • Lettuce: Iceberg
  • Lettuce: Romaine hearts 1
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes: 2
  • Zucchinis 2

Ingredients for Snacks  (If you choose to make the non-dinner recipes that are listed on Wednesdays you’ll need the following ingredients)

  • Carrots 1lb
